I whipped up a toy “yarn ball” to hopefully distract my 1yo from playing with and unraveling my real yarn balls! Seems to be working at the moment 😆 the chains are all knotted together inside so they can’t be pulled all the way out. This is my first dog sweater. The pattern calls for knitting an arm opening with scrap yarn, then later on picking up stitches above and below the scrap, remove the scrap, and BOOM you have an arm hole or live stitches.
