What happened to this fish? I found this fish dead in my tank. Black skin looks very disturbing. They haven't been eating much for the past couple months. I assumed its mainly due to it being winter. Water temp around 17C. Though it's their third winter now and this was quite warm. Water seems fine.
My ibc fish tank was exposed directly to the sun and has layer of green algae covering the wet surface. So i covered it with black plastic around the side and 80% shade net on top. Will shading the ibc get rid of algae? I don't want to drain the tank and move fish unnecessarily. It stresses them out
