Did anyone else grow up fundie/ fundie lite and see these lists and feel shame for any personality traits that fell outside lists like these. Any one OCD that would almost keep a tally of your failings or see if you were growing in your faith by how many items you could check off that list each year
I was watching this movie last night, as it was one my husband grew up on, and all I could see was the Rod family. The kids wore bright clothes, were happy 24/7, and performed at the drop of a hat. The family used their musical abilities to promote politicians. Do you think this was her inspiration?
