Putting surface on a plastic spare-ball. 180 grit or 5000 grit to get rid of last minute hook? If surface = 70% of hook, & all balls become 4700 grit. Why trust performance #s? EG: a new ball with hook rating 60 hooks more than a ball rated 50. But, if the 50ball is 5k grit & 60ball is 1500 grit, then won’t the 50ball go slightly up in hook & the 60ball go largely down in hook after used?2yr ⋅ fak5 ⋅ r/Bowling
