Jim's grotesquely misshapen skull is not caused by an enlarged protruding parietal (back top) bone. The parietal is normal, it slopes down to a disproportionately small frontal. This houses the neocortext, the most evolved part of the brain, responsible for spatial awareness, language, and reasoning
