My Hand - Graphite on Paper - 9x12
Superman by Ryan at Cobra Custom Tattoo, Plymouth, MA - This picture is after about a year.
Top is my house during a remodel in 1917. Bottom was taken in 2018.
I hand cut my first dovetails yesterday. Lots of room for improvement, but the results are encouraging.
I designed and built this media center and matching speaker stands out of half inch maple plywood. It’s my first full on furniture project.
I found this lining a shelf full of paint cans in my basement.
Finally got my small room 5.1 setup put together enough to share.
Check out my Superman tattoo! It’s about a year old in this photo.
I finished my first actual thing with dovetails. It’s a box/drawer for my nightstand (which came with crummy fabric drawers). I’m really happy with how it turned out. Now I need to make two more.
I cleared all the shit off of my dad’s/grandfather’s/great-grandfather’s work bench.
I mentioned to my brother-in-law that I was looking for a coin shop to pick up something cool for coin sleights. He pulls this out of his wallet (where he’s kept it for about 20 years) and says I can just have it. Score!
I’m the 3rd generation to use this workbench (possibly 4th, but I’m not sure how handy my great grandad was). I haven’t done much to make it mine yet.
I designed this book cover to look like an antique leather bound book. I don’t know if this belongs here, but I thought you might appreciate it.
Found these in my dad’s childhood piggy bank.
One of My Recent Purchases.
I got this beauty in the mail today.
Dovetail attempt #2. Maple is waaaay more manageable. (Attempt #1 in comments)
Third time’s the charm, I hope. After breaking one, and then getting a bad panel, I decided to step up to a 65” for my trouble. And it’s magnificent. (More pictures in comments)
Check out this tool I just made! It’s an aglet setter.
Some kids sitting outside my house around 1915.
Noticed this odd joint on a set of drawers in my basement. Any idea what it’s called and why it would have been used instead of a dovetail or some simpler joint?
I made this antique looking book cover to (ironically enough) protect my book from wear and tear. Illustrator/Photoshop/digital printing.
Sistine Chapel - Ravensburger - 5000pc [dollar for scale]
I told my brother-in-law that I’m looking to find some cool but relatively inexpensive coins (to use for sleight of hand). He pulls this from his wallet (where he’s kept it for 20+ years) and just gives it to me. Would it be better to find something in worse shape if it’s going to get handled?
[WIP] Trying my hand at carving to improve a lame chess set. Any thoughts?
It may not be the prettiest...
I made this LED lit display case from existing cheap bookshelves. (More pictures in comments.)
My house in 1920(ish) during the construction of extensive additions.
Messing Around a Bit - Constructive Criticism
My Grandpa some time in the 1920s, I believe.
RIP 55” LG C9 that I’ve had about a month. What are my options?
I’m only 40 pages in and the print is already rubbing off the spine. Is there anything I can do to keep it from getting worse?
M/30/5'10 [240lbs > 185lbs = 55lbs] (18 months)
My Artist Signature
I found these in one of my sketchbooks from years before Man of Steel was made. I was struck by the similarities to what the designers eventually came up with.
Brats. I love this grill.
I’m only 40 pages in and the print on the spine is already coming off. Is there anything I can do to keep it from getting any worse?
I was trying so hard to look badass in my backyard wrestling attire.
She then proceeded to send me pictures and videos of a dead cat with a mouth full of maggots, squeezing a cyst on a guinea pig, and removing the head from a dead cat to send it out for rabies testing.
Someone pointed me in this direction for advice.
I have no idea what I’m looking at here, for the most part. Is there anything that stands out to people more knowledgeable on the subject than myself? (More info and pictures in comments)

The rubberized layer on my earbud battery/noise cancelling thingy is starting to peel. How can I stop it?
What is this weird winged white doll with its strange hangy penis and little mohawk (or maybe it’s a horn)?
Any thoughts or suggestions for this planned setup? Working with a fairly small room. (Link to model in comments)
Why thank you, Brother Stamp Editor help button.
Cinque Terre, Italy - Buffalo - 2000pc
Thought this was a bullet casing, but there’s a C there instead of a primer. Found on the floor at a mall.
My girlfriend found this ring at a flea market in Massachusetts. Does anybody know what it is or if it means anything?
Is anyone familiar with this effect? Bought 15+ years ago at Hank Lee’s, and now I’m having trouble finding another.
This poster board I wrapped at work today.
Here I am angry on a horse. I really didn’t like summer camp.
Found in my grandmother’s old jewelry box in Massachusetts. She was born in 1911, I believe.
What is the round thing on this wall? It’s about 6.5’ up and right in the center. There’s another one on the wall directly opposite it. It’s in kind of a conference room in an old (late 1800s - early 1900s, maybe. Might be older.) government building in Massachusetts.
Apparently a lot of people are searching for bacon on the wikis.
