It's a sky... From the lab. A Labsky, if you will.
When you realize that a sunset is not a time, but a place.
Wanted an SSTO capable of Mun & Minmus low orbit rendezvous. Reached LKO with 3400ms
Alright, everything and everybody's here. Time to gather all the Duna science!
March in Venezuela.
Ready for Entry
Chasing The Golden Hour Part Two: Laythe (album in comments)
Landing a cargo SSTO during a daylight moonrise
Two kerbals, one orbiter, one rover, 4 biomes, over 100km traveled, and a shitload of quickloads. Phase one is almost complete!
Tiny mun lander
Found this cute tepuy-like mountain near a shore.
Polar Biome Scanner (feat. Jool)
Gemble Kerman collecting all the science from the Ice Caps, taken shortly before dying in a freak accident while trying to climb on top of a science container that had no autostrut.
What is happenning?
After watching Cupkake's latest video, I had to try SciFi Visual Enhancements, love it!
Back to KSP with this little SSTO, 950ms of delta-v at an 80km LKO, easy to orbit, very stable on reentry, tends to nose down a bit during landing.
15 unmanned landers, 1 orbital scanner, 1 manned lander, 1 space station, 2 cargo SSTOs (a rocket and a spaceplane), 1 crew SSTO, 2 kerbals: Valentina and Bob Kerman finish their mission colleting all Mun science.
Using Rear Wheels as Landing Gear
Kinda built a boat with a plane body on top. Ended up with a seaplane that can reach mach 5.4 at above 20km, can land and take off from both solid ground and water. Meant to be a Laythe SSTO but splashing down there is harder.
Had to do an emergency landing on the grass and taxi my way onto the runway for this shot.
Bob was tired of using his tiny lander (left), so he got an even tinier lander (right).
Science lander doing it's thing.
Good morning, Duna.
I just love Eve sunrises.
Rising Above the Dust
First time building a base, I present to you the Centro de Investigaciones y Refineria Roraima.
Little Anomally finder for Kerbin
This is the most pretty and functional early-game plane I've made, shameless part clipping though.
Bitter return for Jedorf Kerman
I've been wanting to do this mission for a long time now.
Decided to flip the cabin during a Mun transfer, got this nice view of Kerbin and Jool.
My first Whiplash/Aerospike SSTO, >700ms dV at LKO but has a docking port for refueling, which leaves it with >2k dV
Chillin' in the air
Sunset was so pretty during landing that I took off for another mission.
First time orbiting Eve! <700ms delta-v for rendezvous
I've been trying to get this cargo SSTO right for a week. Last night I threw together some parts in 20 minutes and after some modifications today, I have this crew SSTO.
Heavily based on /u/Xylenox plane posted yesterday, liquid fuel only. With 4300 on LKO, do you think I could take it to vall and back using an Eve-Kerbin-Kerbin assist?
Chasing The Golden Hour Part One: Kerbin (album in comments)
Got surprised with this view during my first trip to the joolian system.
Kerbol, Moho, Eve, Duna, Canopus base.
From left to right: Duna, Eve, Mun, Jool, and Minmus. Also on the left just above the mountains you can see a space station
First landing on Duna, had a lot of problems setting the comms network, so I'm content.
Driving at Duna is the Best
Gemble Kerman and Eros lander collecting all the science from Minmus.
I rarely go to Kerbin's South Pole
A happy landing
Came in too fast for the landing. Barely enough fuel to turn around.
Round trip to Duna
The Kerbal System
A dog standing on a ledge.
Made an airplane just to go to this mountain, flies pretty well.
The biggest sats won't fit vertically inside the size 3 fairings' truss nodes, so I did this to make the fairings as slim as I could, inspired by Shadowzone!
My first SSTO, Dovah.
Pale Blue Dot just before Dunian dawn.
EE Aurora AKA The Science Tree Unlocker
SSTO Brutha watches target destination Aurora Space Station above the sunrise.
Does anybody know how to offset the camera without tilting the horizon?
Tight little package
Hercules' best landing so far.
