Upon rewatching The Desert I can't help but feel so bad for poor Katara. Toph is almost truly blind and needs help getting around, Sokka is high on drugs, and Aang is so volatile and dysfunctional (understandably) from the loss of Appa he's no help either. I might feel worse for her than for Aang.

I completely love Intrigue in this game. I decided to build an extremely intrigue heavy dynasty (the famous Habsburgs) and a playstyle where I don't expand at all myself but plot entirely to give my dynasty members foreign titles. I believe this is the highest intrigue skill I've obtained so far.

So I'm a bit tipsy now and for fun decided to make this with my fountain pen in an appropriately medieval-ish font. I started Shadows of Amn today for the first time ever after playing BG1 2.5 times and making it through with a character I felt like I wanted to take forward. I am fucking hyped.

I returned a coin at the coin store I got a couple months ago I kind of hated and picked up this instead. I'm very taken with it. 1812 2 Reales, Mexico City, my first Spanish coin or colonial coin, I'm a sucker for old, and especially coins as storied as these Spanish colonial ones.

A 1916 Mercury dime I picked up in a random small lot of them online back in May. I was surprised I would get one this old and I didn't even know they could get this worn until I got this one. I got this 1866 Peru One Sol coin recently, one of my first non US coins (along with others that I got alongside this one). I find the obverse to be quite similar to the American Seated Liberty Design on the surface, but for some reason I find this one 1000 times more pleasing to look at.
