I’ve been wanting a project, so my wife turned our daily into one
I changed out my first alternator for my dad today. Took me all day to figure it out and do it but I’m so so proud of myself. Before this the biggest thing I did was change the spark plugs on my project. I’m excited and didn’t know where else to share it.
Exterior is 95% how I like it/back to stock. Now on to the clutch, timing belt and overall engine maintenance.
What am I gonna do with all these housings?
Went out for coffee in the beater.
I'm an elementary school teacher. I was able to get funding to start an electric go kart club at my school. We go through lessons on basic driving skills, race rules, and track etiquette. Hopefully I'm helping to build the next generation of gear heads! As a fun note, my girls lap the boys regularly
Weird knocking sound from engine, getting ready to empty out 50 litres of coolant and 40 litres of oil so I can lift and tear down the engine. Wish me luck..

Dad’s project that sat for years. He passed a couple years ago, we were going to work on it together when I finished my undergrad. Now that I finished college, can’t think of a better way to honor his memory by finishing it.
Buying my grandparents non-running MK3 Supra Turbo? $2000. Getting it running and cleaned up? A lot more $. Knowing that it was you at age 4 that dumped RC Cola all over the goddamn place? Priceless.

A few months ago I bought a $500 ‘95 BMW 325ic! It was barely running and was missing a bunch of interior pieces. I replaced the valve cover gasket, plugs, filters, fluids, bulbs, and found a donor interior for cheap! I decided to give it to my GF after her car was totaled!
Just got my dream car! Now it’s time to bring it back to where it should be!
My tiny but tough clutch showed up today. It's rated at 1300ft-lbs.

Project car my father and I started over a decade ago. My father passed and it sat, didn’t have the will to finish it. Last year the fire got lit again.
