Update: I did it guys. 24 hours later, after restarting my switch, dunking my switch in soap, microwaving it, and then buying a new switch and copy of Metroid Dread, I figured out how to get to the next room (turns out there’s a jump button). I’d like to thank everyone who assisted me in my journey.
