Sold this Jeep 9 years ago and regretted it immediately. After 9 years I was able to track her back down and bought it back today! Somehow only 6k more miles were put on the odo in those 9 years.
I saw this in the street today, the picture doesn't do justice to how awesome it looked. Google says the trim pack was discontinued in 1983!

I FOUND MY DREAM JEEP!!! Impact Orange 2006 TJ Rubicon! And it is absolutely SPOTLESS, inside and out!!! 135k miles, 6-speed manual trans, 95% stock, spent most of its life in Texas and now new to me in Michigan!
I’ve been restoring this TJ for almost 3 years now (I started from a bare frame I purchased on CL) Hopefully going to hear it fire up for the first time next week!

I also met a jerk in a Mercedes. At the doctors office, half of the parking lot is under construction so spaces are at a premium. Guy decides he wants to take 2 spots. It's even worse in my mind due to a lot of these parkers being elderly/sick. Oh well, jeep justice

My Jeep Wrangler Lucille turned 320,000 miles today. 80 trips from Wisconsin to Montana. 18 summers in the sun. 18 autumns in the leaves. 18 springs in the mud. 18 winters in the snow. From check engine lights to broken windshields, from blown tires to blown speakers, I wouldn't change a thing.

After a month of being down. Finally got my first drive after swapping out all suspension/steering components with new stuff. Now my list is that much smaller. (Jeep was sitting for a little over two years.) I'm ready to wheel.
My grandma finally let me buy her 1988 Comanche. 72,000 original miles. Took a little work to get it running, but’s it’s running great now! Still have stuff to do though.
