I asked my very soon to be wife, if she was going to hang out outside while I inspected, if she could take notes while i relayed them to her. I went back to check them to see if I forgot something. And this is what I saw in my book! (The notes were on the other side) She did good.

An agricultural engineer used this bear's night raids as a test to determine which type of honey was the best. In multiple, double-blind trials, Big boy always preferred the rare, expensive anzer honey; followed closely by chestnut, flower, and pine-wood honey.

This is Dave. Dave lost around 200 hives in a fire here in Western Australia. I was lucky enough to volunteer with him for a couple of weeks as he tries to rebuild - building boxes, transferring nucs and collecting pollen from his remaining hives with him. Dave's a legend.

I was on the site of a 1920’s mansion that was being torn down. Before the demolition, I took this doorknob out of it
20+ years of beekeeping and I just did my first extraction from a bee tree. It's so rare to find them here in N. Idaho. This was on a logging job. The crew fell the tree & processed it without knowing the bees were in it. Once they did, they stopped operation and called me. Colony re-hived and safe.

I’ve wanted to get into bee keeping for awhile but just hadn’t gotten around to it. Two days ago this swarm showed up At my farm! I called a guy that was very helpful in telling me how to catch them. They went into their new hive yesterday and I couldn’t be more excited.

I’m 16, my grandpa used to keep bees. This past spring break I was interested so I built my own hive. I just got bees for my first time today :)
I've left a legacy. Long story short, a few months ago my wife and I started caring for three foster kids. Recently we visited their school for a parent-teacher conference. The oldest girl, age 8, had used beekeeping as the subject of a recent project. Super proud foster dad right here. :)
