I understand, (firstly because I read Richard K. Morgan’s Altered Carbon series) the whole idea of recasting Takeshi Kovacs in the Netflix series, but why Anthony Mackie? I’d have liked a different actor. I also preferred Joel Kinnaman’s acting as Takeshi, I felt his was more in line with the books.
